Topic: 4 graphes using Processing (Read 556 times) previous topic - next topic

Hey guys,

I just discovered Processing and find it could be perfect to monitor my 4 arduino variables, now printed on a Serial.

Problem I got is that I want to draw 4 different graphes, using theses 4 different variables and java seem to be little bit more complicated than C ... I do not understand a lot.

Do someone have an example ? My serial is printing values like :

//Cycle 1
Mesure1\n
Mesure2\n
Mesure3\n
Mesure4\n
//Cycle 2
Mesure1\n
Mesure2\n
...

Is it possible ?

Thanks a lot

Maybe. Your use of the same delimiter between packets as between tokens in the packet will make it a lot more challenging than it needs to be.

I changed it to :

Mesure1 Mesure2 Mesure3 Mesure4\n
Mesure1 Mesure2 Mesure3 Mesure4\n
Mesure1 Mesure2 ...

I'm now able to draw curve with my first value, but I got trouble to write code to split the screen and plot each value on different graphes .. Do you think it could be more easy to plot on the same one, but with different colors ? Without having scale issues ?

Bummer. Perhaps if you posted some code and explained what the trouble is...

Yes, definitely. No, not really. Maybe. Take your choice.

Fish have scale issues.
