  Hi there

I'm having a real hard time with my board and now my computer. I'm using widows seven and trying to flash a clone CRIUS Multiwii SE 2.5

I downloaded the arduino program and installed it then ran the drivers installation. After that i down loaded the Multiwii 2.4 folder extracted the files and ran the app to make sure it worked.

I then hooked my FTDI to the Multiwii se and then opened up arduino file in the firmware folder made my selections, went to tools chose the board and the processor then hit the upload button it started compiling then said error uploading and gave me a link I followed the link to the trouble shooting guide dont know what I'm looking for because I don't understand all the terms. Got tired and shut down my computer. When I came back it asked me if I wanted to install Java and I installed thinking it needed it since I read something about installing it on the TS guide.

After that I tried to run arduino again and got a failure to compile error so I got curious and ran the Multiwii config program again and when I click on it I get

Windows cannot find 'Java exe make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again.

I don't what that means. So ended up uninstalling everything through the control panel including the Java apps. I reinstalled the arduino and the MW config and now I still can't flash the firmware and when I start the MW config it still gives me the Java error

I meant to say . please connect your device take screen shot of device manager with port section.

2) download latest version of Arduino IDE. v1.06 if downloaded.

3) if already downloaded IDE try to send screen shot of it.

well long story short I should be getting my computer back tomorrow. IDK what happened but it was gone.

Is there any way in the next few days some could call me and walk me through the steps from downloading software to actually flashing it. I learn better that way.

Anybody willing to teach a man to fish please PM and we can exchange info.

I did something wrong and I'm afraid to try it again without some one there to get me through the parts I don't understand.

So with team viewer would you be able to actually control my computer? If so that's awesome. Or is it just for viewing? Sorry I'm really not computer savvy.

All right I've a completely wiped and reloaded PC running windows 7 HP operating system. I downloaded the arduino IDE 1.0.6 (wouldn't let me download the latest version) and saved it with out installing it to a folder marked "Quad". Then I downloaded multiwii config 2.3. (It was suggested) and saved it to the same file. Is there anything else I need to download before I begin.
