Hi Andrew,

Probably a stupid question, but what should the swipeandslider example do? The blue&orange slider works, but the 4 empty rectangles apparently do nothing?

Cheers,

Graham

Each box should have a number in it, and swiping up or down will change the number accordingly

I found the issue, the color for the text is gotten from the slider. However when I changed the code, I forgot to return the slider value. I will post the fixed code. Give me one second.

ps. I haven't had any interest in my arduino projects as I have been more into learning Swift 3 for iOS.

Hi Andrew,

Well thank you for the update, that has indeed fixed one of the problems, we now have a variable number -1 to 65535 under the slider but the '0, 0, 0, 0 Too Low' never changes regardless of slider.

Sorry you have lost interest in Arduino!

Regards,

Graham

The textcolor is currently set to change when you swipe.

Originally the color was fixed to white but at the last minute I thought it would be good to use the slider to change the text color.

I'll fix the example when I get home.

It's not really that I lost interest in Arduino, it's just I'm an iOS app developer and I code all day. So the last thing I want to do is come home and code some more. Once in a while I'll work on some things on the weekend for my RCs.

Library updated. (there are probably other examples that are not updated, i'll go through, find and fix them too.)

hi,

I have a issue.

I have created 3 Sliders

Code: [Select]

  slideR.Coords(80, 100, 600, 170);
  slideR.Colors(BLACK, RED, ROUNDED, FILL);
  slideR.SetDirection(LTR);
  slideR.SetRange(0, 1023, 1);
  slideR.SetStartingValue(512);

  slideG.Coords(80, 190, 600, 260);
  slideG.Colors(BLACK, GREEN, ROUNDED, FILL);
  slideG.SetDirection(LTR);
  slideG.SetRange(0, 1023, 1);
  slideG.SetStartingValue(512);

  slideB.Coords(80, 280, 600, 350);
  slideB.Colors(BLACK, BLUE, ROUNDED, FILL);
  slideB.SetDirection(LTR);
  slideB.SetRange(0, 1023, 1);
  slideB.SetStartingValue(512);

  slideR.Draw();
  slideG.Draw();
  slideB.Draw();
  myGLCD.setColor(WHITE);

  if (redraw == 1) {

  slideR.ReDraw();
  slideG.ReDraw();
  slideB.ReDraw();
  Serial.println("redraw slider");
    redraw = 0;
  }

redraw is set to 1 by calling the page function

but when i change the page on my TFT and go back to the Sliderpage then missing the border.

is it possible to fix this?

Call the unlock method first. If that still does not work, I will look into it
