Hi

Recently I came across this  product which when we connect installs some device driver software . I think it installs some service.

My Question here is where did they store the software which gets downloaded when the device is connected ?

Two or three hours spent thinking and reading documentation solves most programming problems.

It has nothing to do with the Arduino just giving it as an example .

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean.
Apparently you need to install/configure an application manually, which checks IM,skype and other messages.

I can imagine the device needs a driver as well which, in most cases, is installed automatically when you plug it in for the first time. If so, your PC will check what type of device it is and download the driver from the internet.
