Would this work?

Run the wires from the dimmer switch to inverters flipping the logic states, switch the HI wire to the LO relay and vice versa, put a power diode between the relays with cathode toward LO.

When switched to high point A will be HI making point C LO turning off LO relay.
Since point B is LO point D will be HI turning HI relay on and routing voltage thru diode making LO relay stay on.

When switched to low, point A would go LO instantly, making point C HI.
point B would go HI making point D LO turning HI relay off.

NO time delay because we are switching when a circuit breaks instead of waiting for one to make.
Points A & B would be pulled low with resistors.


Well thanks to @jcallen the code works and the device as a whole works.
