Greetings all!

I have been using a modified 9bit HardwareSerial library (similar to the one made by Nick Gammon over here http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=91377.0 ) which has been working well for my purposes in the 9N1 configuration.

I was using the MEGA2560 which had a wealth of Hardware Serial ports available to me, which was great!

I am now making my own board and would like to use a smaller chip such as the ATmega328 (as used on the Pro Mini). This unfortunately does not have enough hardware serial ports available to me. I need at least two (plus one for debugging = 3). For this reason I turn to Software Serial.

After searching the forum and rest of web, I can't seem to find a modified SoftwareSerial library which can be configured to run in 9N1 mode.

Has anyone perhaps come across such a library? Is this even possible?

Your support is much appreciated!
