Hello community. I have accidentally shorted my arduino while plugged into my MacBook Pro 10.6. The computer shut off and now the usbModem port is no longer an option in the tools drop down bar. I have followed instructions from other threads to install the drivers as well as many troubleshooting efforts posted on the apple forum in regard to this. No luck. The computer is able to use the usb ports for other devices so I'm assuming this is a software issue. Can anyone help me take steps to regain access to the usbModem serial port? Thank you
