1602 LCD Keypad Shield

how do i connect the headers with normal female cables,
for extrnal use

i dont want to (click) the shield directly on the Arduino.
but use it external.

It sounds like you need some jumper cables, like these!

You'll need to connect A0 (for the buttons) and D4 through D10 (for the LCD) along with +5V and GND for power. That's ten wires.
