Topic: Won't upload sketches (Read 600 times) previous topic - next topic

The arduino create won't upload sketches for me...

The first time I try to upload a sketch the arduino reboots and the arduino create just continues to roll it's bar saying it's busy. If i quit that and try to upload again nothing happens on the arduino. If i try to change the USB-port it does not update in the arduino create and when I plug in another board that doesn't appear.

Only after restarting the computer can I upload a sketch, although it never uploads, it just restarts the previsouly loaded sketch. And then the whole thing starts over again, I restart, it doesn't work, I restart again, it doesn't work. The strange thing is that this happens to me in the normal IDE as well, exact same thing.

All boards I tested are genuine and none are fake. Hope you guys can help me out with this...

Mac OS X El Capitan

woa this sounds really bad, sorry!
If you are getting the same error on the normal IDE I would recommend you write at support (at) arduino.cc

It would be really helpful if you could provide the sketch you are trying to upload and the board type.
