Hello my name is Jordon Williams,  I own a small entertainment company.   I recently got involved in working with Arduino and love the capabilities of this product.  I have a fairly good knowledge of wiring, soldering, and I know a bit about electronics.  It is the programming that is giving me the bind.  I understand what's going on when I read code and in this way I am able to apply code to getting buttons to work and lights to blink.  I am just over my head as to what I really need this thing to do. Plus I am running a little low on the time to really study it.  What I would like to do is to have some program written for me. I need to do some specific chases and flashes using 16 leds and the TLC 5940.  If you are interested in programming for hire, please message me.  Or please at least point me in the right direction. Thank You
Jordon

Hi Jordon,

have a look at Macetech's OctoBrite DEFILIPPI. http://macetech.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=22

It uses a TI TLC5947 to control "eight RGB LEDs or 24 individual LEDs".

There's heaps of documentation & also sample code at http://docs.macetech.com/doku.php/octobrite_defilippi

Also, their blog details some recent LED projects from World Maker Faire NYC 2010, that should interest you. http://macetech.com/blog/node/101

Lastly, the guys at Macetech are very helpful.

With this information, and your talents, I think you can complete the task yourself. 8-)
