Hi, all.

I have an L7805CV 5V Voltage regulator and I want to step down the power to 3.3v.

Is it safe to just make a voltage divider circuit to step it down, or should I go get a 3V regulator?

Thanks!

Do you just need to Sense that 3.3V is there? Resistor divider is fine.

Do you want to supply current at 3.3V to power a device? Regulator is needed.
