I'm looking for cables and connectors to use in a custom project. I'm going to print some boards but I'm not sure which cables and connectors is better to use.
How are you doing? Which cables and connectors you prefer to use and see as a better solution?

I know the answer depends on the number of cables and the type of sensors, you are using, but I am looking for idea to have projects stables and professional.

Thank you Larry, so are you suggesting using utp cables and solder them in male headers?

Sometimes soldered wires are suceptible to breakage near the connector pin.
Crimp connectors with strain relief holding on the insulation is my preference.

When I make up cables I lean towards a multi conductor cable containing stranded wires.

You use male straight or right angle pins on the PCB and female on the DuPont connector.
