Does anybody have any pointers to info on interfacing with Ableton Live using MIDI mapping across the serial/usb link on Windows 7. I've seen some demos using MapleVMC to create the virtual midi cables and then MIDI relay to map them across on xp - but I have no real knowledge on how they fit together - it's the practical bits I'm missing  :( Any pointers / guidance / explanations....

A little bit of progress on this... I've used MIDI relay http://bit.ly/dp1qeu which works fine on Windows 7, installed LoopBe1 http://nerds.de/en/loopbe1.html for the virtual MIDI cable and can now send MIDI note-on messages from arduino using Serial.print and they are visible on the MIDI relay panel. My *assumption* is that these are being passed on to the loopbe1 midi port as that's what's visible under control panel / devices...

I now need to look at mapping Ableton Live....
