I am having a heck of a time getting a driver or a driver to install for my Arudino Uno r3 unit.
I am not able to have windows recognize this driver, I have tried a mulititude of different methods and still cannot get it to work, including all the methods on the help section by manually installing etc, Has anyone  ran into this problem and if so how did you get around it

It worked fine out of the box on my win7 systems.  Are you using a clone? Check the party number on the chip near the usb port - most clones have a ch340G, which requires different drivers (google them, on phone so can't dig up link)
