hi ! im planning the build a home made robotic arm .
I'm worried a little bit on the Arm Clamp / Hand .

any suggestion / tutorial to build one in house (besides buying one ?)

I found this pic some time back, no idea where. That's a car door electric lock on the right, iirc.

If this was a Civil Engineering forum would there be posts like "I need to build a bridge. Someone send me drawings."

Depends on how complex you want it to be. If you need a simple one this might be an idea:

Personally I had a local company 3d print one for me since I didn't have a 3d printer at the time.
