Topic: Reading/writing EEPROM via GMLAN/CAN channel? (Read 822 times) previous topic - next topic

I've been researching some Arduino projects and am about to pull the trigger on a Arduino Uno and CAN shield. I have read many other users' projects on GMLAN sniffing and collecting packet data, but usually that requires an interaction, like pressing a button and reading the returned packets. I do not yet understand finding EEPROM locations within the system, and how to read and write to them.. Internally in the radio there is stored values I want to change, but I'm not sure how to find that radio's EEPROM across the GMLAN channel.

Eventually, once I found the EEPROM, I would read/write to the .bin file from my Arduino. Any advice is appreciated to push me in this right direction. Thanks.
