Topic: Arduino and Fedora 10 (Read 534 times) previous topic - next topic

Have been using Ardiuno for about a year on an XP system.  Windows crashed and I am done with MS.  I just installed Fedora 10.  Linux is new to me.  I have followed all the instructions I can find and have not been able to load Arduino.  Can anyone direct me to a step-by-step instruction?  The Arduino page is good but over the head of a nubee.  I am having Arduino withdrawels after only a couple of days down time.

I have the same configuration. I had to install couple of dependencies for arduino:
yum install avr-gcc
yum install avr-gcc-c++
yum install avr-libc
yum install ia32-libs
yum install librxtx

Note that you might have some of those already installed.
