CTS ? in cp2102 ? or my mini ?.
For you, in the cp2102, because you didn't provide one on the proto board. The mini already has one.

As I said, on the mini, the CTS line is simply grounded.

Just run the CTS on the cp2102 to any ground on your proto. It will probably be easier than trying to find another ground on the cp2102.

where ? in cp2102 or in proto board ?(proto board doesn't have cts only DTR) You talking about cp2102 correct ?.

ok.

need to connect the cp2102's cts pin to ground while uploading ?.

like this ?.
cp2102-------------proto board
vcc-------------------vcc
gnd------------------gnd
tx--------------------rx
rx--------------------tx
dtr-------------------reset with series 0.1uf cap.
cts------------------gnd ?.

Ok. Thank you. I will try... today...

I am going to freshly boot load. then try.

Hi,

I just freshly boot loaded using nano the remove nano.  then connect CP2102 in serial lines once with and with out cts.

It is working fine. (with CTS------GND).

also working without CTS ??!!!. (CTS----/----GND).

I think that time the capacitor or boot loader may be does not well.

Thank you all. I learned new thing... int this discussions.

pert

When you do a Sketch > Upload Using Programmer it erases the bootloader so you can longer do uploads via serial. After doing that you will always need to do a Tools > Burn Bootloader again to go back to being able to upload using your CP2102 again.

Great to hear that it works. Indeed, the problem was probably the boot loader. But disconnecting CTS after grounding it doesn't prove anything, because if it was a floating input to the CP2102 it could happily remain in the low state after being grounded, and then mysteriously fail the next day.

It's easier to troubleshoot a system that works, than one that doesn't work. :)
