Topic: Arduino shield for robotic arm (Read 564 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi, i'm doing a robotic arm 6dof controlled with potentiometers, if all works i will create an app to control the arm via bluetooth. My robotic arm has mg996r servos. I was searching an arduino shield to make the connections easier and i found the arduino sensor shield v5. I'm little lost because Idon't know if it's the right shield, with this i'm going well or which shield would you recommend me?¿

That might work.  And when you want to hook up some sensors then you can look for a servo board?

Running those servos doesn't require any external components.  The Arduino board can do it by itself.  There's no need for any shield.  If you just want some connectors then grab a piece of perf board and a soldering iron and have at it.

Please do not PM with technical questions or comments.  Keep Arduino stuff out on the boards where it belongs.
