that's right using accelometer will make it auto level .......
but  i found that its stabilized while flying ..... so for that i said gyro stabilizes the drone.....
It is ok that your UAV doesn't use accelerometers. It's just that it won't have relatively long-term self-stabilising capability when you take your hand away from the joystick. If your system works for you, then that's great.


the main idea of all is that PID may change , consider  that drone stability is like those with just gyro ....not more

but PID in mine is just about gyro values no more.....
