I have not found any example of a two way communication between Arduino 2560 and the other avr board
with atmega32 on it.
There seem to be no problem on talking from computer via usb to the Arduino board and visa versa. But howto establish a link between avr board and Arduino is my problem.I would like to be able to send and receive by both boards.Any help would be appreciated.

This is very unfortunate that no one is ready to put a light on to this question! Why?

There's no magic here. The ATmega32 is just another microcontroller.
By two way communication I assume you mean UART? Remember to connect TX to RX and vice versa ;)

Possibly because people cannot see the problem !  I do this by simply cross connection the TX and RX pins on the two devices and connecting the two grounds.
