My computer takes about 5 mins to verify any program, including the Bare Minimum example, any ideas at how I can fix this?

I tried disabling the Windows Defender antiVirus and that didn't seem to help. Sorry for not mentioning it I am a Windows operator
Are you using the Arduino IDE or a different IDE ?
Do you have any other IDE's installed ?
When was the last time you had a computer clean up ?
Do you have any other security software besides windows defender ? ( Thats not much as security goes)
Are you sketches stored elsewhere other than the local drive's ? (network and cloud type drives can be slow or awkward)
