Good by sun

Same picture here.

75 and sun here

My wife is on our boat. I had to stay and work.

75 and sun here

Although it finally dipped into the 80's this week, I have a feeling the sun never sets in Arizona. It's good for solar projects, but bad for basal cells (which I prune regularly due to red-headded skin.)

Where are you Larry ? ISTR Canada somewhere.

Goodbye or just au revoir?

One foot of snow, 1 1/2 hr shovelling. ???

1/2 hour changing oil in snow blower.
Bring on the snow.

I though all the good canucks had snow blowers?

I do have a snow blower, just got the oil changed and all the bolts tightened after I shovelled.
Go figure why I didn’t have the winterizing done when it was warmer.

I guess the roof doesn’t leak when in doesn’t rain.

Oh well, now that the snow blower is ready, it won’t snow anymore

Hey you guys down east, we will soon be sending you the white stuff.
Winterize now, this is going to be a long winter.

Been snowing all day here. I woke up to 6" on top of the 5 we got yesterday. People are funny though....they must think that maybe this years snow won't be slippery like last years snow...kind of like tractive snow. Three vehicles in the ditch on the way in.

Makes you feel lucky living in soggy old GB and I moan if the water butt gets frozen.
All that moisture-laden Atlantic air and left-over hurricanes means no two days the same.
Trips to Calgary (-20) and Moscow (-11) remind me what real continental winters are like

"oh, and if i get any packages from Canada, in an insulated box, i will mark it "return to sender"

We get our weather from Alaska as it makes its way to New England

.

Snow blower has both standard and metric nuts.
Lucky I got one of these from eBay.

My recollection from brief visits to Montreal is wonderfully bright winter sunshine coupled with tooth-numbing cold.

Surely you mean "standard and Imperial"?

Won't work for me, that's the right handed model.
(PS. My wife's most prized kitchen utensil was a left handed vegi cutting knife.)
Tom..

I think if you look carefully you will see that one end is right-handed and the other end is left-handed.

But thank you for drawing my attention to that, I was about to buy one.
