Hi Guys,

Because of the added battery charging circuitry the Simple is unable to power a device from the FTDI header meaning that the Bluetooth Mate is no longer plug'n'play compatible.

To get the bluetooth mate working with the LilyPad Simple board can I plug the Bluetooth Mate directly into the FTDI pins on the board and then power it using the in-built power supply socket with a LiPo batteries plugged into the socket?

Any advice is much appreciated, ta

Is it unable to power the device because the battery is charging? If the battery is charged, is the problem still there? And also, is that functionally okay? If it's not, then the circuit will need to be re-designed.
