measure vacuum pressure as low as 3Kpa with a sensor

Hi, everyone.
I'm working on creating a vacuum chamber for food preservation / drying and most standards dictate that vacuum drying works best between 3KPa and 5.978KPa. I'm looking for a sensor that can sense as low as 3Kpa. Can anyone recommend one for me ? So far, the best fit I have found seems to be the MPXV7025 but I need to be sure before I place an order all the way from Nigeria. Thanks.

Is that absolute pressure?

MPXV5010 measures 0-10 kPa.

The BMP280 should also happily measure those pressures, and has digital output. Maybe make that the BME280 and you have humidity as well.

MPXV5010 is AFAIK differential or gauge, not absolute.
Pressure range for the BMP280 is 300-1100 hPa (30-110 kPa) according to the datasheet.
Leo..

The MPXV5010DP is differential; the others should be absolute (see datasheet). There are different ranges for these sensors.

I suspect all such sensors are very expensive, as they will be designed for high vacuum equipment so need to
be made of materials that do not outgas.

The MPXV7025 is not available as an absolute sensor. "Gauge" means differential w.r.t. ambient (ie
it only has one tube, but its differential).

Any sensor that is rated for +/- pressures cannot be absolute!

Ah, thanks. Misunderstood that part.
