Finally used up all the prominis I purchased last fall - in this case, something happened either with the box I was getting serial info from and it took out the promini it was talking to, or the promini died and took out the box, both stopped working.
The other box has gone out for repair, and I wired up the parts of the promini I needed to replace it: atmega, reset pullup resistor, crystal & 22pf caps, 3 decoupling caps, and enough header pins to bring in power, ground, serial data in, and 6 lines out for the LEDs I control.
Box shows the lights that go on when a touch is scored in fencing.
