Hello, i've been using simulink and arduino for quite some time and the lack of "encoder block" was a very limiting factor. I did made my own encoder block but because i had no direct access to interrupt i made the block with a regular digital in which obviously was limiting what could be done.

I think all arduino/simulink users deserve to get that encoder block or an access to interrupt within simulink and not only those who have an mkr1000 motor carrier which can be bought only with the kit.

Looks like matlab now has a function for encoder :

would it be able to make a block from this ?
