Repeating bootloader

As soon as I plug in the arduino it start bootloading and I cannot get out of the mode. Therefore I cannot upload anything. The arduino had the latest core update. Has anyone encounter this problem?

The red light starts blinking the same way it does when you manually boatload it (pressing the reset button twice).
I'm using the MKRVidor4000
