Topic: How to play audio files with a I2C DAC? (Read 472 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello,

A few days ago I tried to play audio files with PWM, but I want the quality to be better.
I already have a MCP4725 and a Micro SD slot.
I have searched online for project's, but there they use capacitors and I don't have them at home.
Does somebody know how to play wav files without any low pass filter?

I2C is too slow for any great quality.

No you can not do this without capacitors unless you change the circuit to use inductors and I guess you don't have any of those either.

The MCP4922 12 bit SPI dual DAC will do a conversion in a few microseconds if SPI clocked at 8MHz (max
for ATmega style Arduinos).
