Topic: Antenna booster? (Read 566 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi,
I'm building some projects with Arduino MKR 1010 Wifi.
Unfortunately sometimes the arduino is just too far to get proper Wifi signal even if an other device would get the wifi without issues. Also it looks like the case for some of my projects will attenuate the signal drastically.

Is there an external antenna or an antenna booster that I can use with the MKR 1010?

  Thanks,

This topic has been covered and might I suggest a little more reading in this section to find the relevant posts.

In short you cannot add and external antenna but there are methods to optimise the signals both transmitted and received.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.

Sorry, I searched the section I can't find any discussion on the subject.

Just two right off the bat.
Also search the MKR1000 section as it has also been covered there too.
