evening all
thanks in advance for your help.
i am looking to build a camera pan and tilt system.
i notice this has been done before, but i havnt a clue where to start.
i dont have all the bits yet, but i will be using a arduino with an l298n motor driver and 2 dc motors.
thats the easy bit for me.

now is where i need help.  i have NOT GOT A CLUE about coding.

would anyone be willing to write for me or help me write the code?

i would like speed control, possibly ramp and most of all, i dont want the motors to centre when i let go of the joystick.

much apriciated guys

Most curious project. You don't want motors to centre, but you offer no way for the motors to know where center actually is located, or which way to turn for that not to happen.

ok, i know it can be done as i have seen videos of it being done.   basicaly, move joystick forward= motor moves forward and holds till it recieves another signal.      same for other motor.

please see this video   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opi6kfLZgFQ

i dont need the lcd and buttons.   and i would like to use dc motors rather than stepper motors.

if it would be easier to use steppers then i guess i will.
