Capacitive sensor
May 11, 2011, 11:02 am
I used the code here to simply detect the capacitance reading at each pin:
http://arduino.cc/playground/Code/CapacitiveSensor
But my problem is that my pin 13 reads the same value no matter what, while pins 8-12 all behave like I expected. Is there something different about pin 13 or could my arduino be defective?
Thanks!

I think the problem is that the duemilanove has an led and resistor attached to pin 13. How do I remove this?

Remove the LED with a soldering iron and solder-sucker tool - although this is quite tricky...
