arduino('/dev/cu.usbmodem145101', 'MKR1000', 'Libraries', 'Arduino/MKRMotorCarrier');
Arduino IDE at folder 'Arduino.app/Contents/Java' is corrupt. Open Add‑On Explorer to reinstall
MATLAB Support Package for Arduino Hardware.

I keep getting the above when attempting to load. I'm not able to change to 32bit. Have also reinstalled.

I'm using the MKR1000 board and Arduino 2 app

On the mac, this is the main directory that holds all sorts of arduino stuff (the compiler and core libraries), not just Java (I don't know why, though.)

What is "Arduino 2"?   The latest IDE version is 1.8.9...

Rowland1960

Sorry i'm using IDE 1.8.9,

how do i change to 32 bit ?

pert

What is making you think you need to change to 32 bit?

Rowland1960

Apparently the latest update for Mac, works in 64 bit and one of the fixes was to change to 32 bit to allow it to work.

Please post a link to where you found that information.
