Well in my opinion, not really, at least not without knowing a hell of a lot about programming and data structures.
IFTTT structures are only really suitable for interacting with other apps, like email and posting to facebook and so on. They don't save you from having to understand complex data structures and having to implement some sort of web based node from your Arduino.
