Are you asking whether the drivers from that web page work, then I can tell you they absolutely do on Windows. That is the website of the manufacturer of the chip.

  • Open http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_ZIP.html
  • Click the blue button with the picture of the cloud with the downwards pointing arrow.
  • Unzip the downloaded file to a convenient folder.
  • Open Windows Device Manager
  • Plug in your CH340 device.
  • You should now see a new entry appear in the device tree's "Other Devices" section.
  • Double click on the new device.
  • Click the "Update driver" button.
  • Click the "Browse my computer for driver software" button.
  • Click the "Browse" button.
  • Select the folder you unzipped the downloaded file to.
  • Click the "OK" button.
  • Check the box next to "Include subfolders".
  • Click the "Next" button. The driver installation wizard should now automatically install the driver.

After that, you can delete the downloaded file and unzipped folder. There is no need to run the "SETUP.EXE" file that comes with the download (I've never run it so I have no clue what it does).
