Topic: transpose i2c driver from intel edison/upm/mraa to arduino library (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

Hi,

I have this driver:

https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/upm/blob/master/src/smartdrive/smartdrive.cxx

https://github.com/intel-iot-devkit/upm/blob/master/src/smartdrive/smartdrive.hpp

from this i2c device: http://www.mindsensors.com/rpi/76-smartdrive-high-current-motor-controller (that comes originally with the drivers in python)

The way the driver was transposed from python to c++/intel edison/upm/mraa was this:

http://shawnhymel.com/756/writing-your-own-upm-module-getting-started/

I need to help to use possibly 80% of the work already done (take namespace upm, class, for example and put Wire()/i2c) and make 1 SmartDrive/i2c driver for arduino.
