Topic: time_t 32bit or 64bit ? (Read 3662 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello everyone!

I am developing an end device with the MKRWAN1300 and I have some timestamps being used in this project.
The time_t type used to be 32bit and I developed all the data structures, which are sent over LoRa to an application, based on that.
A few weeks ago, I realized that somehow it changed to 64bit type (int_least64_t).
Now I really don't know what caused this and how to deal with it!
The time_t type is defined in the types.h which is inside the GCC toolchain, so maybe there was an update on my system recently.

Does anyone else has experimented this kind of problem?
Is there a way to force the system to use the 32bit version of time_t ?

Thanks in advance.
