Topic: Opening the Arduino IDE starts multiple previous projects??? Is it normal? (Read 124 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello!

I am using version 1.8.9. For some reason, even if my IDE is already open, and I accidently start new from shortcut instead of "New" from the menu, several sessions open, including already opened projects.

Is it me and my environment, or is there something I have missed from settings? Arduino IDE seems to make really stupid folders around profiles and libraries on Windows, and after getting new versions of the IDE, everything should be cleaned totally.

I can live with this, after all these years with computers, nothing has been logical except what you do for yourself.
 :)

This is the normal behavior. There is nothing you can do to fix it other than not opening multiple IDE sessions. I submitted a bug report for it some time ago:

Thanks Pert, I can stop wondering THAT little thing and focus other problems.
