Topic: A suggestion from an electronic expert needed (Read 2105 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi, I have to install this audio amplifier
icepower 50asx2 btl
I know it can be put in mono to obtain only one channel with full power. Can you suggest me how? I don't understand the manual.
Have I only to put together the 2 output channels?

This does not seem to an Arduino question.

Two or three hours spent thinking and reading documentation solves most programming problems.

It is not an Arduino question at all but according the the manual you place the two INPUTS together.

See the section for BTL.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google (who would have thunk it ! ) or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.

The manual has this to say:
The ICEpower50ASX2 is available in two variants with either stereo or mono output configuration.
You'd best confirm which version you have.

Hi, the version is btl.
An electronic specialist says that the 100 watt speaker has to be connected at the two + output signals.
One input has to be connected normally at one of the two input channel and the other requires an "signal inversor" (I don't know the right english words) to obtain a 50 + 50 watt output in one channel.
