Topic: Music Visualizer using LEDs and Spotify!! (Read 330 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello,

So I am trying to develop a music visualizer in order to flash lights to music that is being played from Spotify. Ideally the colors change with the frequency.

Currently I have the setup as shown by the attached diagram. I would like to not have to use a microphone or audio jack in order to pass the data to the arduino. It seems like I can use some sort of serial port in order to pass the data of the music through the usb and into the arduino to display on the LEDs. I am very confused in how to do this due to my limited experience with arduino.

Could anybody help me with how to do this?

Thank you in advance.

Hopefully everything makes sense and don't hesitate to ask clarification questions if needed.

What attached diagram is that then?

So how do you want to pass the Audio into the Arduino then?
