hi.. i am planning to buy Freeduino DU from embeddedmarket.com.i m new to this board.
The link of product is
http://www.embeddedmarket.com/products/Arduino-Compatible-Freeduino-DU
my question is which board type, com port and data rate to choose in tools option in Arduino software provided at arduino.cc?
is this board is compatible with arduino?
Looks like a direct clone of the Diecimila.
If it has a ATmega168 processor, select "Arduino Diecimila, Duemilanove, or Nano w/ ATmega168".
If you put in an ATmega328 processor, use "Arduino Duemilanove or Nano w/ ATmega328"
Select the serial port that only shows up in the list when the Arduino is connected.
I think I have one of them somewhere.
They work fine.
Thanx john & Si.. I apriciate your help..
I got the Freeduino-DU yesterday..
It comes with a 328 and the website says its a Duemilanove clone.
It works fine.
The only difference I could see is superficial: it does not have headers on any of its pins and that means I'm looping wires around the pins at the moment ..
