Hi i was a question about why piezo buzzers make weird sounds when used without a resistor.
My piezo buzzer doesn't have a problem. Crackling and popping like sounds.
Its not a speaker you know a normal buzzer.
Also most weird part is my buzzer weirdly louder than my laptop speaker.
I can hear buzzer sound from other rooms.
Do you have a "buzzer/beeper" or a "transducer/speaker"? Which one do you want?
A buzzer or beeper had a built-in sound generating circuit and it makes a tone when you apply a DC voltage. If it makes a tone when connected to 5V, you have a beeper.
You can't change the tone/frequency of a buzzer and they generally need more current than you can get from an I/O pin.
A transducer/speaker converts AC audio signals to sound. If you connect it to 5V you might get a click when you connect and disconnect it but otherwise it will be silent while DC power is applied.
If you want to play different tones, you need a transducer.
I found beacuse of poor connection .
Cable of buzzer not very conductive or cable is connected poorly or long
Of course a flakey (intermittent) connection can cause problems. But a piezo should work fine with very long wires.
