Ok if you do that again you will loose a lot of friends, we don't like that sort of behaviour round here.

What if some one is having the same trouble as you and your fix can help them? This sort of thing is seen a selfishness.

My apologies.. I was too embarrassed to post how I fixed it.

To test my first strip I cut from the very end, although the end of the strip had a data cable pre-attached I didn't realise I was trying to send data the wrong way up the strip, as soon as I ran a cable to the other end it worked.

Again, my apologies. Full on newbie lol.

I am usually so far out of the box that most people don't know what I am talking about.

I realise that now, at the time I just thought no one else could be that much of a newbie, felt stupid. Anyway, hope it helps someone one day.
