I could not find any reference to that pin in the schematic other than the connector, so it looks like the pin is not connected. And when you look at the datasheet the ADC allows to use the analog inputs as reference input. I did not see an option for another pin.
I am certain this is an error in the description of these websites. They all copied it from the same source.
Maybe the pin is NC and is there for compatibility with other boards.
