Hi,

I have just received an industrial PLC that contains a Yun board.

I have read piles of tutorials explaining how to use luci to change the IP from DHCP to a static IP.

Problem is, when I change the IP and press Save and Apply, it says it applied the changes but still uses the DHCP address.

I navigate to Network>LAN>Edit>General Setup>IPv4 address,

then I change it from 192.168.240.1 -to- 192.168.0.111

I press Save and Apply, it says finished, then I type in 192.168.0.111 to my browser and it say not found.

but when I use the address that DHCP assigned (192.168.0.100) it still works; as if nothing has changed.

I can not find any way to set a static IP on this board.

I feel like I have done everything I can and this thing refuses to use static address. I can not find any other tutorials on the web and am completely lost for such a simple task. Please help

Nevermind, I think it was because I was trying to configure the LAN interface, while the wired Ethernet is actually called the WAN interface on the Yun.

Silly, but that was the issue.
