I haven't tried using the quote button in other mobile browsers. Nor have I searched if this was already mentioned (being lazy). But the quote link/button has no functionality on Firefox mobile.
By "quote link/button", do you mean the link that says "Quote" that is at the bottom of each post, or do you mean the reply toolbar button that looks like a speech bubble?
Every so often, the Quote link doesn't work for me (using desktop browser, I've never used the forum on mobile). This problem is pretty rare and will usually go away if I reload the page. The speech bubble toolbar button always works for me.

Yes, the quote under each reply. My apologies for not being more clear.
The quote link works fine with the duckduckgo mobile browser. So, must just be a Firefox thing.
The quote button works fine in the Chrome browser as well.
Why don't you try using a different browser like DuckDuckGo?
I've tried using it on the Firefox browser as well. I didn't have a problem.
