I bought some WS2811 strings and wondering why I can't get any to turn on. I happen to have a couple of STM32 (blue pill) boards laying around so I thought I would give it a try but so far, I can't get a single pixel to light up. Most of the time I just get a compiler error before the upload starts.
I found a couple of sketches that will compile and upload but nothing happens when I power everything up.
