Topic: ld terminated with signal 9 (Read 391 times) previous topic - next topic

I'm just picking up Arduino and I made a program that reads temperature and if it goes over 30°C a red led light, but when trying to verify my code this message appears: Arduino:1.8.12 (Mac OS X), Scheda:"Arduino Uno"

/private/var/folders/mb/ltpmr9y547x6pqmb9jg9kw2w0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/9C5DC802-41B4-42FD-AB85-723F7606410F/d/Arduino.app/Contents/Java/hardware/tools/avr/bin/../lib/gcc/avr/7.3.0/../../../../avr/bin/ar terminated with signal 9 [Killed: 9]
exit status 1
Errore durante la compilazione per la scheda Arduino Uno.

Can anyone help me?

Strange that it's a signal 9 - that normally indicates that some other process killed it. Not enough mac knowledge to assist further.

As an aside, the error you posted shows ar as what's getting killed, not ld.
