Servo Gearbox???
Apr 02, 2020, 05:53 am
Hello everybody, I am making an exoskeleton and I want it to lift as much weight as possible.
Option 1: ASKAWA SERVO MOTOR 400W SGMAS-04ACA2C has torq of 1.27 n / m with a worm reducer nema 34, 100: 1
Option two: A 55kgxcm servo motor, with reducer/gearbox.

I do not have much experience in motors, I want to know if the 55kg servo motor can be fitted with a reducer/gearbox, this would be ideal because it would be lower in price than option 1 and lower in volume, but I have not seen reducers of that type being sold, what do you advise me? thanks.

You might look on ebay for a "servo kit" that has a gear box.
