Topic: Make arduino being detected as another device (Read 360 times) previous topic - next topic

Hey, I hope it's the correct place to ask it? I'm trying to recreate an HID device using arduino, I have captured all the USB packets that I need in order to read/write information to the arduino HID device, but since I have a software that I'm connecting the HID device to, I need to make the arduino being detected as that device.

I'm not really sure what it would take in order to achieve this, would it simply be manually setting the PID and VID? I guess there is much more than that.

Can someone share some more information about what it would require in order to achieve this?

Thanks for the help! :)

Look up open source V-USB for AVR-based Arduinos, modify as required.
